Jennie Trias Obituary

MACOMB, IL – Retired Western Illinois University English and Journalism Instructor Jennie Trias passed away Thursday, Sept. 2 in Springfield, IL.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life service will be scheduled at a later date.
Trias began working at WIU in 1988 and retired in January 2013. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees from WIU, both in English.
Trias is survived by four sons, Jean-Pierre; Thomas; Kenneth and Guy; her daughter, Niki; six grandchildren; and one brother, Patrick.
