Talent Grant and Tuition Waiver Exhibition at WIU Art Gallery

MACOMB, IL -- The Western Illinois University Department of Art and Design will host its annual Talent Grant and Tuition Waiver Exhibition on display through Friday, Dec. 10 at the University Art Gallery. Exhibiting students received talent grants or tuition waivers for Spring 2021 and/or Fall 2021 semester(s).

Exhibiting students: Senior art major Xochi Anderson, of Macomb; sophomore art major Rivers Ashton, of Lincolnton, NC; sophomore art major Molly Borth, of Towanda, IL; junior art major Teresa Chaidez, of Beardstown, IL; senior art major Yahzyah Crutcher-Hanna, of Chicago; sophomore art major Abigail Ehrenberger, of Oakwood Hills, IL; senior art major Kaitlyn Galloway, of Mt. Sterling, IL; junior art major Grace Gilbertson, of Knoxville, IL; senior English major Abigail Gindlesberger, of Flora, IL; junior art major Zoe Hughes, of Warsaw, IL; sophomore art major Grace Lessen, of LaHarpe, IL; senior marketing and art double major Sofija Micevic, of River Grove, IL; senior computer science major Curtis Norton, of Canton, IL; senior art major Charley Pleshko, of Macomb; junior art major Kaitlyn Rodgers, of Franklin Park, IL; senior art major Wade Samples, of Danville, IA; sophomore art major Emily Sharon, of Joliet, IL; junior art major Salem Shinn, of Davenport, IA; junior art major Alyssa Sutheard, of Macomb; junior art major Tatiana Ward, of Chicago; junior art major Keosha Westphal, of Fruitland, IA; and senior art major Mercedes Wittenbrink-Blazinic, of Quincy, IL.

A reception for the artists will be held from 4:30-6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7.

The exhibit is open free to the public. Visitors are expected to be vaccinated and masks are required
