WIU School of Agriculture's Legacy Sale April 27

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University School of Agriculture's Livestock Merchandising Class and the WIU Livestock Judging Team. will host the eighth annual Legacy Sale Wednesday, April 27.

This is the eighth annual sale, which includes donation lots of all kinds, ranging from WIU items, a customized boom box, frozen genetics, animals, bags boards and a fly fishing trip.

Money raised through the sale will help cover travel expenses for the WIU Livestock Judging Team and with improvements at the University Farm. Each year, the program is organized by the WIU livestock merchandising class, taught by Associate Professor of Agriculture Mark Hoge. For the second year, a custom WIU bar, built by WIU students Tucker Marrs and Madison Neeley, will be included in the auction. The top is made from a portion of the old Western Hall basketball court, with a WIU emblem made by the WIU Department of Engineering.
