MACOMB, IL – Western Illinois University College of Education and Human Services Academic Advisor Phoebe Wilson has been named the Council of Academic Advisors (COAA) Advisor of the Month for April.

Wilson was nominated by a student who said she showed an "exceeding amount of enthusiasm and readiness to help."

"She went above and beyond, and was never in a rush when meeting," said her nominator. "Most of what I know to this day, about college and my classes, and really anything pertaining to WIU, is because of her. She goes above and beyond than just what's expected to make sure everyone that meets with her is on track and knows what they are doing all while being encouraging throughout the way."

The nominator added that even while meeting over ZOOM, she radiated "positivity and an eagerness to help."
