Psychology Colloquium on Quality of Life on Military Bases

MACOMB, IL - - MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University’s psychology department will host a colloquium by David Rohall, assistant sociology professor, at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4 in Waggoner Hall 054 on “Community Conditions Impacting Quality of Life on Military Bases.”

Rohall received his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland in 2000 and joined the Western Illinois University faculty in 2003. He serves as the Western Anthropology and Sociology Club adviser, is a member of the American Sociological Association, Inter-University Seminar on Armed Forces and Society and the Association of Public Opinion Researchers and is a research associate for the Western Survey Research Center. His research interests include social psychology, social attitudes and military sociology.

This colloquium, open free to the public, is the fourth of five hosted by WesternÂ’s psychology department this fall. For more information, including future topics and dates, visit the psychology department website.
