A press conference and reception to introduce the architects chosen to design Western Illinois University's Performing Arts Center will be held Friday, April 27 in the WIUM/WIUW Performance Studio at 320 W. University Dr., west of Cinema I & II.
The reception begins at 2 p.m. Friday (April 27); the presentation/press conference will begin at 2:15 p.m.
Designers/architects from OWP/P (O'Donnell, Wicklund, Pigozzi, and Peterson) of Chicago and Phoenix (AZ) and Pelli Clarke Pelli of New Haven (CT) will be introduced and will be available for interviews. They will be joined by WIU President Al Goldfarb and Dean of the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Paul Kreider.
