WIU Author Recognition Reception at Malpass Library April 14

MACOMB, IL -- Western Illinois University Libraries will host its Annual Author Recognition Reception from 3-5 p.m. Wednesday, April 14 in the Leslie F. Malpass Library Garden Lounge. Remarks are slated to start at 3:30 p.m.
According to Tammy Sayles, marketing and outreach librarian, the event celebrates authors affiliated with Western who published during the 2009 calendar year -- including those who wrote or contributed to books or articles, published musical scores or produced films, authored software or video compositions, as well as other materials.
She noted that WIU authors will be recognized, published items will be on display and refreshments will be served. The event is open free to the public.
