Zscheck: October EOM

MACOMB, IL – Jody Zscheck (pronounced Check), a graphic designer associate in Campus Recreation at Western Illinois University, has been named the WIU October Civil Service Employee of the Month.

According to her nominators, "Jody always demonstrates a high degree of professionalism and exceptional skill every day. She is always more than happy to assist with anything that needs to be done.

"Her duties at the golf course are above and beyond her work responsibilities and requirements. Jody's dedication to doing the best job possible promotes an image of excellence at the golf course and the Office of Campus Recreation," her nominators added.

Zscheck worked as an extra help editorial assistant for Document and Publication Services from August 2005 until July 2006. She was hired as a secretary III for Campus Recreation in July 2006, and was audited to her current position in September 2010.

"It is an honor to recognize Jody with the October Civil Service of the Month Award. Her professionalism and commitment to Western are to be commended," said Carla Farniok, Civil Service Employees Council (CSEC) public relations representative.
