Incident Off Campus

MACOMB, IL -- Macomb Police Department were called to Turnberry Village, an off-campus apartment complex not affiliated with Western Illinois University, regarding a distraught individual earlier this evening.
According to MPD, three apartments were evacuated; however, the situation was brought under control and residents have been allowed to return. This incident is unrelated to the recent threats on the WIU-Macomb campus.
