Literary Magazine Editor to Speak at WIU Thursday, March 24

MACOMB, IL - - Jacob Knabb, editor-in-chief of Another Chicago Magazine (ACM), a nationally recognized literary magazine, will speak and answer questions about publication and editing at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 24 in the Western Illinois University Union Sandburg Theatre. Knabb, who earned an MFA (Master of Fine Arts) in writing from Purdue University, will also answer questions about the MFA process for anyone who is interested. The event is open free to the public.

In addition to his role with ACM, Knabb is a lecturer in the First Year Writing Program at University of Illinois-Chicago. He hosts a monthly variety show at "So You Think You Have Nerves of Steel," featuring writers, comedians, musicians and other performers, at the Hungry Brain pub in Chicago.
