MALPASS LIBRARY ENTRANCES

Construction will begin Tuesday, May 29 on the east and west entrances of Western Illinois University's Leslie F. Malpass Library.

Laverdiere Construction will remove the existing brick; repair sidewalks; improve drainage; and install new cast-stone in place of the brick. The east and west entrances will alternately close during the construction. The north entrance will remain open during construction, which is expected to be completed prior to the start of the Fall 2012 semester.

MURRAY STREET CONSTRUCTION

The City of Macomb will begin road repairs on Murray Street/C.T. Vivian Way, directly in front of Western Illinois University's Mowbray Hall Tuesday, May 29. The repairs are expected to be completed by June 1.

While the road will remain open during the repairs, traffic will be limited to one lane.
