MACOMB, IL - The fifth annual Phi Beta Delta Scholarship Dinner was held Nov. 3 in Macomb to raise money for student scholarships.

This year's event, a Taste of India, featured authentic Indian cuisine, a presentation, entertainment and a silent auction.

Members of Phi Beta Delta and Indian students prepared the food, and profits from the event totaled more than $1,000. The money raised is used to support international education scholarships.

One semester the scholarship is given to a student who is studying abroad, and the other semester it is given to an international student. This year's study abroad student recipient is Christopher Martin, a junior law enforcement and justice administration major from Shell Rock, IA.
