WIU Women in Science Program Offering Laboratory Class for Girl Scouts

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University Women in Science program will host a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) program for regional Girl Scouts from 1-4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 21 in Currens Hall, 203.

Registration is $5 per person.

The Lab Girl program will allow Daisy, Brownie and Junior scouts to earn Citizen Scientist badges, Cadettes and Senior scouts to earn a Special Agent badge and Ambassador scouts to earn the Science of Style badge.

The event is an opportunity for Girl Scouts to dive into science with the help of WIU faculty in University laboratories.
