Non-Traditional Student Orientation

Student Development Office (SDO) and the Organization of Adult Students for Interaction and Support (OASIS) provide a special program for nontraditional students. Nontraditional students are older than most of their classmates, married, widowed, divorced, parents, veterans, or pursing a nontraditional course of study. Since your lives tend to be busy, we have designed an abbreviated orientation to meet your needs. The orientation session is a panel discussion featuring current nontraditional students at Western Illinois University. Students can get all their questions answered or just listen to general information and the experiences of our students. Questions will be answered about campus resources such as child care, parking, financial aid, health care, and much more.
