WIU Mourns Student Death

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL -- The Western Illinois University community is saddened to learn of the death of WIU-Quad Cities student Laura Bollaert of Merritt Island, FL, who died Oct. 23 in Florida.
Bollaert, 28, was pursuing a bachelor's degree in accountancy.
"We extend our thoughts and sympathies to Laura's family and friends," said Western Illinois University President Jack Thomas.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
