Halloween Flight Tonight, Oct. 27

MACOMB, IL - - This isn't your typical Halloween art show open house where you walk around, look at images and murmmur "ahhh" and "ummmm."

From 6-8 p.m. tonight (Oct. 27) the Western Illinois University Art Gallery becomes Halloween, with bats winging around the outside of the gallery, and inside - - adding a palpable heart pounding 'Night of the Dead' experience - - with ghosts stalking the stairwells, music of the dead played on instruments and danced and the opening scene ringing out with three witches from Shakespeare's "Macbeth."

The "Halloween Flight" exhibition and opening night 'production' are the creative work - - and researach - - of WIU Art Professor Bruce Walters.

Visit the "Bruce Walters' 'Halloween Flight' Takes Wing Oct. 27 at WIU Art Gallery news release for more information about the exhibition which runs through Thursday, Nov. 19.

Walters' website for the show is www.HalloweenFlight.com.
