WIU Fall Ceremonies Recognize 570 Graduates

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL - - Western Illinois University's Fall Commencement Weekend (Dec. 18-19) recognized 570 individual students who were eligible to graduate in December.

The Dec. 18 Academic Honors Convocation presented 114 awards of academic distinction, including College, Departmental and Honors scholars as well as Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude and Summa Cum Laude graduate candidates.

A total of 570 candidates for graduation–468 undergraduates and 102 master's graduates–crossed the stage during two Dec. 19 Commencement ceremonies. Undergraduates received their diploma covers; master's students were hooded with the University and discipline colors.
