Music Award

1. Offered each year to a qualified percussionist at Western Illinois University

2. Renewable for two years if student meets criteria

Criteria:

1. Student is eligible to apply for the WPMA during or after the freshman year
2. Student must have participated in the Western Illinois University Pan Clan Band of Steel for one year prior to applying
3. Student's GPA must be 3.00 or better
4. Student must demonstrate an interest in World Music through performance and/or participation in percussion ensembles
5. Student must take an active leadership role in the Western Illinois University Pan Clan Band of Steel and/or other percussion ensembles

Application

Application forms are available from the Department of Music and should be submitted for consideration by April 15 for the ensuing academic year.

Terms:

$500.00 per year for a total of two years if eligibility is maintained
