Education
- Ph.D. – Lebedev Physical Institute, Moscow, Russia, 1988
- B. S. – Havana University, Havana, Cuba, 1973
Courses
- Introduction to Astronomy - PHYS 101
- Atomic Physics & Quantum Mechanics I - PHYS 430
Research Interests
My research concerns theoretical high-energy physics under external conditions (finite temperature and densities, magnetic and electric fields, nontrivial topologies, etc.). In my research, perturbative, as well as non-perturbative methods are used and developed. The fields of application of my studies are particle physics, cosmology and condensed matter.
