Teachers:

Ann Curtis: Director, Teacher, Preschool room.
Ann holds a Bachelor's degree in Child and Family Life and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. 
She has taught child development and early childhood classes at WIU, Spoon River College and Carl Sandburg College. 
She regularly presents workshops around the state of Illinois and the Midwest. 
She has had many of her teaching ideas featured in national teaching magazines. 
Ann has been employed at the WIU Infant and Preschool Center since 1977.

Andrea Hanna:  Assistant Director, Lead Teacher, Infant and Toddler room. 
Andrea holds a Master Degree in Early Childhood Education and a teaching certificate in the United Kingdom.
She has worked with children from birth through third grade for 31 years, both in the United States and England.
Andrea has been employed at the WIU Infant and Preschool Center since 1995.

Scott Brouette:  Lead Teacher, Preschool Room
Scott holds degrees in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, and Mass Communication.
He has worked with young children since 1986.
Scott has presented workshops at Early Childhood Conferences around the world.
He has been employed at the WIU Infant and Preschool Center since 2005.

Leann Dejoode: Teacher, Preschool room.
Leann holds degrees in Elementary Education and Leisure Studies.
She has done extensive work with the Girl Scouts, the local park district, and has several years experience working in early childhood and after school programs.
Leann has been employed at the WIU Infant and Preschool Center since 2003.

Sandy Pendell: Teacher, Infant and Toddler room.
Sandy holds a degree in elementary education.
She has taught children birth to grade 4 since 1993.
She teaches piano lessons after school to older children.
Sandy has been employed at the WIU Infant and Preschool Center since 2000.

Susan Vaughn: Teacher, Infant and Toddler room.
Susan holds a Child Development Associate credential and takes early childhood classes at WIU.
She has worked with children in early childhood settings since 1992.
Susan has been employed at the WIU Infant and Preschool Center since 2001.
