December 2008 Provider Payment Updates
Early Intervention Provider Payments Update effective 12/31/08
Early Intervention has received funding to allow processing of the 12/10/08 voucher. This is the voucher that matches the Provider Claim Summarys dated 12/10/08. This payment should be showing on the Illinois Office of Comptroller Web Site early the week of 01/05/09.
Please watch the IOC website at:
www.ioc.state.il.us then click on Vendor Payments and enter your
billing tax id number. As payments are approved, they will be posted on
this web site.
Early Intervention receives funding from multiple sources and every effort is made to reduce the impact of the lack of state funds available by utilizing every other source. We will continue to make payments to providers as the funds become available. While we understand the impact these delays have on every aspect of the Early Intervention Services System, we are not able to change to the way the state process works. We encourage everyone to understand the situation and hope that the issues are resolved as quickly as possible.

Early Intervention has received a General Revenue Transfer which allows us to submit the 11/26/08 voucher, which payment would have been received approximately 12/03/08, to Illinois Office of Comptroller for payment early next week. We have no indication at this time when additional funds might be available to transfer for additional vouchers. Please continue to check the IOC website to see if payments have been released and Provider Connections and Central Billing Office websites for updates. The Central Billing Office will continue to process claims as normal and deliver Provider Claim Summarys. Early Intervention will update this notice weekly and/or when new information is received. Early Intervention has received a General Revenue Transfer which allows us to submit the 11/19/08 voucher, which payment would have been received approximately 11/26/08, to the Illinois Office of Comptroller for payment. We have no indication at this time when additional funds might be available.
