June 2009 Provider Payment Updates

Early Intervention Provider Payments Update effective 06/30/09

Effective 06/30/09 Early Intervention has no new updates regarding release of payments. The last weekly provider voucher approved matches the Provider Claim Summary dated 05/28/09. Early Intervention monitors this situation daily and every effort is made to minimize the impact of not receiving General Revenue Funds timely. We will continue to send updates weekly or when any new information is received. The Early Intervention / Central Billing Office will continue to process claims and provide Provider Claim Summarys as normal. Thank you for your continued patience.

Early Intervention Provider Payments Update effective 06/17/09

Early Intervention has received funding to allow processing the 05/20/09 and 05/28/09 vouchers for payment. These are the vouchers that match the Provider Claim Summarys dated 05/20/09 and 05/28/09. These payments should be showing on the Illinois Office of Comptroller Web Site within a few days.

Please watch the IOC website at www.ioc.state.il.us then click on Vendor Payments and enter your billing tax id number. As payments are approved, they will be posted on this web site.

Early Intervention receives funding from multiple sources and every effort is made to reduce the impact of the lack of state funds available by utilizing every other source. We will continue to make payments to providers as the funds become available. While we understand the impact these delays have on every aspect of the Early Intervention Services System, we are not able to change to the way the state process works. We encourage everyone to understand the situation.
