Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to: 

  1. demonstrate competencies for functioning in hospitality management in areas such as foodservice and restaurant operations, lodging operations, and event planning and management
  2. compare ways in which factors in the environment impact the foodservice and lodging systems in a global and culturally diverse environment
  3. demonstrate how to locate, interpret, evaluate, and use professional literature to make decisions related to hospitality management
