Memorandum of Agreement

Consistent with Article 27.10.a., Article 41.10.a., and Definition 19, WIU and UPI agree to change the language in Article 27.7.a. and Article 41.7.a. from "parent, spouse, or child" to "parent, spouse, domestic partner, or child." Further, WIU and UPI agree to change the language in Article 27.12.b. and Article 41.12.c. from "The natural, adopted, foster, or step-children, or the spouse of any employee..." to "The natural, adopted, foster, or step-children, or the spouse or domestic partner of any employee..." Individuals must complete the Western Illinois University statement of domestic partnership declaration to qualify as domestic partners.
