WIU-Quad Cities offers 24 student organizations, and is the home to WQPT-Quad Cities Public Television. Over 95% of Western classes are taught by full-time faculty and students receive personal attention with a student-to-faculty ratio of 12:1. WIU-Quad Cities offers an impressive array of daytime, evening, weekend, and online classes and support services to best serve student needs.
The WIU Cost Guarantee assures that undergraduate and graduate students pay the same tuition and fee rate for four years. WIU is committed to affordability, and over 75% of Western students receive financial assistance and/or scholarships. You can earn up to $10,000 annually for four years under Western Commitment Scholarships and that there are also Transfer Scholarships and opportunities for funding through graduate assistantships.
This is an exciting year for WIU, as we celebrate our newest addition. Phase II of the Western Illinois University-Quad Cities Riverfront Campus opens for classes August 25th, 2014. Located on the banks of the Mississippi River, the new campus features state-of-the-art technology, teaching and learning environments. You will make history as one of the first students to take classes in the new Phase II buildings.
