Enterprise Fleet Vehicle Information

The WIU-QC campus is now using Enterprise fleet vehicles as a cost savings measure and to provide you with a more modern and safe mode of transportation. We will realize savings in our trips to Macomb, longer distance trips, etc. as we are charged a daily rate now versus a mileage rate previously with our University Fleet Vehicles.

Here are the Negotiated Rates:

Daily Rates:

  • Compact Car: $32.00
  • Full Size Car: $34.00
  • 7-Passenger Van: $54.00
  • 15-Passenger Van: $74.00

Weekly Rentals charged 6 times the Daily Rate.

Monthly Rentals charged 24 times the Daily Rate.

**Your department/account will be billed both for the rental price of your vehicle and for your fuel charges.

How to Reserve a Vehicle:

Faculty and Staff should go to https://www.wiu.edu/CarRequest/ to request a vehicle. Every effort should be made to reserve vehicles 72 hours in advance. Complete the online form in its entirety, including the name of the fiscal agent who is approving your rental. It is also crucial to be specific with the start and end time for your trip since this is a daily rate rental. Vehicle sign-out, key pick up, vehicle pick up, vehicle drop off, and key drop off will all remain the same.

To pick up your keys go to Building C, Room 3420 (OSVP)

  1. Show your valid driver's license
  2. Pick up your purple "Car Packet" (keys, WEX fuel card, insurance information, rental agreement, Macomb Parking Pass, etc.)

Enterprise vehicles will be parked in the West Lot where the fleet vehicles were parked. Please return your rented vehicle to the same parking area. Return your Car Packet to the OSVP during regular business hours (8:00 am-4:30 pm). If you are returning your vehicle outside of regular business hours place your Car Packet in the Library Book Drop.

If you are traveling to the Macomb campus you must display the parking pass that is provided in your Car Packet. Failure to display the parking pass could result in a parking ticket. Any tickets received as a result of not displaying the provided parking pass become the responsibility of the driver.

Please direct any questions on this process to Bill Brewer at WE-Brewer@wiu.edu, ext. 62253 or Nicky Friedrichsen ND-Friedrichsen@wiu.edu,ext. 62209.
