Verification Forms

If you and your parents are able to retrieve your IRS tax data directly from the IRS when completing your FAFSA, your chances of being selected for verification are greatly reduced! Read more about the New Verification Process for 2012-13 in our Financial Aid News.

You will be contacted by WIU email if your FAFSA was selected for verification or you can check STARS for your Financial Aid Status. If selected for verification, a Verification Worksheet and federal tax returns are required to determine financial aid eligibility. Follow the instructions included with the Verification Worksheet.

Note: Please do not send a Verification Worksheet or tax returns unless the information is requested.
