What can the Media Checkout Center do for me?
We provide portable technology for faculty and staff members to use in addition to the classroom technology provided in the classroom environment. Reservation of equipment is required and availability is dependent upon previous reservation requests. Please note that students may only reserve items under the supervision of faculty or staff members.

Projection Screens, Tripods, and more...
The Hardware Resource Center has portable projection screens available to use for out of building presentations. Also available are universal tripods that work out great with the Canon DC-40 model digital video camcorders. These items come in handy for classroom video presentations. Tripods will hold most models of cameras.

Archiving Cart
Many still have valuable teaching tools on VHS tapes. These tapes wear out over time and have problems playing in VCRs where tracking is controlled by the machine.
To alleviate this problem, we have a VHS to DVD conversion cart available so you can save your current VHS tapes to DVD format. This allows for easier portability as well as durability.
