Robert & Blenda Ontiveros Scholarship

  • GPA, ACT, Year in School: Minimum GPA of 2.75, Undergraduate and Graduate
  • Major, Other Requirements: Open to students enrolled in any major at WIU-QC
  • Deadline to Apply: 4:00 pm on Friday, September 7, 2018
  • Award Amount: $1250 ($625/semester)

  • Comments: Preference given to students of Hispanic origin

QC Minority Scholarship

  • Applicants must be a resident of Rock Island, Henry or Mercer County in Illinois or Scott County in Iowa and a member of specific minority group.
  • Applicants must either be applying for admission (as a high school senior or GED student) and currently accepted in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
  • Applicants must demonstrate a financial need.
  • Submit an essay, which shows minority outreach in the community.
  • Applications must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
  • Deadline to Apply: 4:00 pm on Friday, September 7, 2018
