7TH ANNUAL CAMPUS ART SHOW

Call for Artists and Designers
WIU-QC Current Students, Faculty and Staff
Seventh Annual Campus Art Show 2024

Student Services invites all current students, faculty and staff at WIU-QC to submit images of art, photos and designs for possible display in the QC Complex Atrium in Building C for the 6th Annual Campus Art Show. The 2D artwork or designs must be, 36” x 36” in dimension maximum and suitable for easel display (framed, matted or mounted on a firm backing). 3D Sculptures must be easily movable without special equipment.

We encourage that works be for sale, but it is not a requirement for inclusion. A limited number of works will be accepted. Along with your piece, please provide an artist statement describing your artwork (i.e. inspiration, concept, special techniques, medium, etc.) The Exhibition is limited to paintings, drawings, photographs, sculpture and designs.

Deadline Information

The deadline for entry is March 29, 2024. Applicants will be notified by April 1, 2024 if their works have been accepted. Drop off of accepted artwork will be Tuesday, April 2, 2024, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Thursday, April 4, 2024 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at reception desk in Riverfront Hall.

Late work will not be accepted.

The show will last from April 5th through April 29, 2024.

To Apply:
  • Use a valid WIU email address to apply
  • Two entries allowed per person
  • Send up to two clearly focused images saved as jpegs at 300-600 DPI to: qcstudentaffairs@wiu.edu
  • Make sure your name and title are saved to the image files

In the body of the email include:

  • Your name, email address, and phone
  • A brief paragraph about your work
  • A list of the works you are submitting including title, dimension, medium and price
