If so, becoming a WQPT/PBS Ambassador may be just what you're looking for! Going into our ninth year, the WQPT/PBS Ambassador program is an opportunity for college students to represent public television at a variety of events throughout eastern Iowa and western Illinois. Our Ambassador program is an opportunity for regional college students get professional experience by representing WQPT. Its a fun and rewarding experience. Ambassadors are a more highly trained extension of the WQPT volunteer force representing the station at fairs, community and fundraising events and on television.

To apply simply download and complete the online application. Once completed submit your application to Bea Brasel via e-mail to be-brasel@wiu.edu, mail to WQPT Ambassadors, 3561 60th Street Moline, Illinois 61265 or drop it off at the WQPT offices located at Western Illinois University 60th Street Campus, 2nd Floor in Moline.

Application deadline is Friday, April 26, 2013.
