All ResNet 2010-03-18
We will be performing some network maintenance on Thursday March 18, 2010 between the hours of 8:00 am and NOON. No outages are expected.
Tanner, Bayliss, and Henninger 2010-02-26
Maintenance will be performed on Tanner Core network equipment. Network outages should be expected from 6 to 10 am.
All ResNet Buildings 2010-02-03
On Wednesday February 3, 2010 we will be blocking access to the campus DNS servers from ResNet networks. This should only cause a problem for computers that are not configured to obtain their DNS servers from DHCP. All computers on ResNet networks that are receiving their DNS server information from DHCP are already using the ResNet DNS servers and should not experience any problems.

We appear to be having a problem with our Internet service and are trying to resolve the problem with the help of our ISP. Resolved 9:10 am December 31, 2009
All ResNet 2009-12-22
We will be performing maintenance on the ResNet DNS servers between the hours of 8:00 am and NOON on December 22, 2009. We do not anticipate an outage associated with this maintenance.

We will be performing some network maintenance on Wednesday December 23, 2009 between the hours of 8:00 am and NOON. No outages are expected.
All ResNet 2009-11-16
We will be performing maintenance on the ResNet DNS servers between the hours of 8:00 am and NOON on November 16, 2009. We do not anticipate an outage associated with this maintenance.
All ResNet Buildings 10/13/2009
We will be activating a redundant network link, that will reduce the chance of a network outage if a piece of network hardware were to fail. We do not expect any interruption of network service. The work will be done on Tuesday October 13, 2009 between the hours of 4:00 am and 6:00 am.
All ResNet 2009-08-13
We will be changing the DNS servers that ResNet users will be accessing. This is to limit the impact of a single DNS server becoming unavailable.
EV & UV, International House 04/15/2009
There will be a network outage for East Village, University Village, and International House on April 15, 2009 beginning at 6:00 am. The outage is required to perform maintenance on a fiber optic cable that services the buildings. We will make every effort to keep the outage to a minimum.
ResNet 11/24/2008 - 11/26/2008
We will be making a number of changes to the ResNet network 11/24/2008 - 11/26/2008. These changes are necessary to progress toward activating the second campus Internet egress.
All ResNet 11/11/2008
Equipment upgrade will result in a brief Internet outage. Internet service should be restored by 7:00 am. This will effect the residence halls and campus networks.
