Quad Cities Lifelong Learning

Western Illinois University is committed to Academic Excellence, Educational Opportunity, Personal Growth, and Social Responsibility and as a result, we create lifelong learning opportunities on the Quad Cities campus of Western Illiniois University.

The WIU-QC Lifelong Learning program offers courses in history, English, finance, science, technology, and recreation as well as many other areas. A wide range of courses are offered at an affordable price, allowing individuals to take several classes every semester at locations on campus and in the community.

Instructors for our programs are university faculty as well as community members with a desire to share their knowledge and time with individuals.  The courses are non-credit in nature and do not require tests or papers. Any adult is welcome to register for a lifelong learning course. There are no educational requirements or prerequisites for our courses.
