Australia: Charles Sturt University

Charles Sturt University  Charles Sturt University is centrally located in New South Wales, which allows students access to major cities and  national  parks. Law enforcement students will study at campuses located in Bathurst or Port Macquarie. Students at CSU have many opportunities to get involved with campus life, participate in outdoor recreation, and  pursue other interests.

England: Birmingham City University

lion Birmingham City University is a large, multi-cultural university with 23,000 students. The Perry Barr campus, where you will take your courses, is located about three miles north of the city center and houses  the Business School and the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences.

Summer
Belfast: Queen's University

Queens University Queen’s University is located in the capital city of Northern Ireland and is equipped with world-class, state-of-the-art facilities. It’s a place where students can learn and research together. The university has been producing leading global academics, national and international leaders since last 170 years.

Program offered:

  • Conflict Transformation Summer School: Students taking this program will examine the theories and practices of conflict transformation from within local and global perspectives that will include case studies of Northern Ireland, the Balkans, the Middle East, South Asia and South America. Here are a few case students will examine:

      • Human Rights and Social Justice

castillo Students are also given the opportunity to meet with some of Northern Ireland’s decision-makers – key politicians, church and community leaders. There are excursions to archaeological, historical and cultural sites in Belfast and beyond, with Irish music and dance evenings as well.

Internships And Service Learning Programs
  • Law Enforcement and Justice Administration students can gain practical experience in several countries throughout the world.
  • Programs are offered in 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 week increments. Not all options are available in all locations.
  • Deadlines are EARLY! Summer deadlines can be as early as February 1st.
