Situated in northwest England, Edge Hill University is only 20 miles from Manchester and a train ride from London. Ormskirk is a friendly 12th century market town with a student population of about 23,000. Students participating in this program during the fall or spring semester have options to take a variety of courses towards their major, minor, or general education requirements.

About the Program

Semester Program:  Students can study for a semester or academic year at Edge Hill where they will have opportunities to take coursework in a variety of disciplines.

Housing and Meals: All students participating in the program live in student residence halls with single rooms. More information is available on the Edge Hill University accommodation website

Entry Requirements: The visa required for students will vary based on the length of time of their program. Students going for one semester can apply for their visitor visa upon arrival in England. Students participating in an academic year program must apply for a visa before entering England. Visa requirements can be found on the UK immigration website.

Health Insurance: University policy dictates that any student who studies abroad MUST be covered by one of the two insurance plans below. These are the ONLY options.

Academics:  Be aware that Majors are called "Courses" and Classes are called "Modules."
