About the Program

General: Ewha offers a coeducational international program and welcomes all students, both male and female.

Semester Programs: Students can participate in a semester or academic year exchange at Ewha where they will have opportunities to take coursework in English in a variety of disciplines. Students will also have access to Korean language courses.

Summer Program: Ewha ISC brings together an incredibly diverse group of students to experience the best of Korea through academic study and cultural immersion.  More information can be found on the summer program website

Housing and Meals: Ewha has on campus housing available in student dormitories. More information about housing and meal options can be found on the accommodation website.

Entry Requirements: Students must apply for a visa before entering Korea. Visa requirements can be found on the website of the Korean Embassy. 

Health Insurance: It is a university policy that all WIU students who study abroad are either covered under WIU student health insurance OR have purchased the Patriot Travel Medical Insurance plan through IMG.

Academics

Exchange students are eligible to take most courses offered at Ewha. Courses are offered in a wide range of disciplines allowing students to take coursework towards major, minor, and general education requirements during the same semester.
