Grant Accountant

Shannon Sutton and Jessica Dunn are grant accountants located in the Business Office in 220 Sherman Hall. They may be reached at (309) 298-1811.

When you receive an award, you will be assigned a grant accountant. They are responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of your account. Expenditures will be entered against your account by Shannon and Jessica so they are aware of all fiscal activities. They will submit invoices to your funding agency so WIU can receive payment. They are also responsible for any final fiscal reporting requirements.

Shannon and Jessica possess a wealth of knowledge regarding business office practices and the fiscal policies of many funding agencies. Sponsored Projects works closely with Shannon and Jessica on a daily basis to make sure your project is running smoothly.
