Description/Bio: Families, school staff, therapists, and others: Please join us for an evening with our guest, Barbara T. Doyle, MS. In the first
portion of this evening session, you will learn several important considerations to use when working to change the behavior of young children
with autism spectrum disorders. In the second half of the evening, Ms. Doyle will address written questions submitted by the audience. Come
and learn with others who care for and about children with autism spectrum disorders: create success!
Barbara T. Doyle, MS, is a nationally known author, master teacher, trainer, keynote presenter, and consultant with thirty-seven years of
experience. Her focus is on children and adults with autism spectrum disorders; autism with hearing and/or vision impairment; autism with
mental illness; deafness; and deafblindness. She consults and provides technical assistance to school districts, adult services providers, child
welfare providers, families, universities, agencies, and professional organizations. She is an engaging trainer, noted for her practical
information delivered with humor and humanity. Barbara is a family member of three people with disabilities.
This training will provide 2.0 hours for the following:
- CPDUs (Continuing Professional Development Units) for teacher certification
- CDA (Child Development Associate) credit in area(s) #2, & #3
- CE credit for SLP, SW, LCPC, PT, and OT professionals
Full attendance is required to receive a certificate of participation.
