Description/Bio: Do you often wonder about the best way for children to learn about the alphabet? How DO they figure out our complex
language? What are important motor and language milestones which will impact their learning? Join us for a workshop filled with literacy ideas
to help children ages two through six make sense of the literate world. We?ll discuss the importance of phonemic awareness, rhyming
awareness, alliteration, and letter recognition. Small group activities with hands-on materials, video clips, and discussions will highlight the
morning.
