Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Lumpkin Family Center
1000 Health Center Drive, Mattoon, Illinois
Description/Bio: The availability of software titles for young children can make it difficult to find and select titles to include in a technology
center. Examples of software titles in various levels of interactivity will be demonstrated and each title?s features will be discussed.
Suggestions for integrating software into the curriculum will be offered. Participants will have the opportunity to review and rate software
examples using a guide for selecting software. In addition, participants will have time to review software titles from an extensive collection and
reach their own conclusions related to a title?s value and it?s usefulness in their classroom. Resource and purchase information will be
provided to all participants.
