The Western Illinois University-Macomb Campus Master Plan calls for the transformation of the Murray Street roadway into a primarily pedestrian thoroughfare, while also providing service- and emergency-vehicle access.
Hitchcock Design Group illustrations of C.T. Vivian Plaza accomplish connecting the north and south campuses and creating a “heart” to our campus.
The complete summary also address the long term goal a new union with a below ground parking deck, as well as “standards” for campus pavers, campus lighting, benches and creating special areas on campus.
