Looking For An Internship?
Internships are the most important criteria when deciding on new hires, according to a recent national survey. The same survey said that 71% of employers would be seeking interns for 2011/12.
The length of these internships is critical and many employers would like them to be completed during a summer or preferably up to 12 months in duration.
Employers use these internships as "proving grounds" and "on-the-job training" for future full-time employees.
Employers at Career Fairs often are looking for interns in addition to full-time employees.

Please remember that if an internship is required by your program/major, that you check with your department chair-person and/or internship coordinator. NEVER GIVE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION (SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, CREDIT CARD NUMBER, OR BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER) TO ANYONE THROUGH THE INTERNET OR OVER THE PHONE.
