DRC Information Sessions

Each semester, DRC holds several information sessions for faculty who have students with disabilities registered in their courses. Because faculty share the responsibility for ensuring that students with disabilities have equal opportunity in their classrooms, DRC hosts these sessions to prepare faculty for accommodation requests and to share with them their rights and responsibilities with regard to working with students with disabilities. If you have a DRC student in one of your courses, you will receive an email invitation with the dates and times of the DRC information sessions. If you are unable to attend one of the sessions offered, you can contact DRC directly at 309-298-2512 to schedule an individual meeting.

The dates and times for Fall 2010 are listed below.

Macomb Campus

Wednesday, August 18, 2:00 pm, Multicultural Center Board Room
Thursday, August 19, 1:00 pm, Multicultural Center Board Room

Moline Campus

Dr. Sonia Sharma will provide DRC information to Quad Cities faculty by appointment. To schedule an appointment that is convenient for you, please contact Leslie Mose (ext. 288).
