Paying for College at WIU

For first-time students and families, the financial aid process can be difficult to navigate. Paying for College is presented at Summer Orientation and Registration (SOARS) events, but can be incredibly helpful to review and use prior to your arrival on campus!

• Paying for College- Financial Aid - Reviews the basics of the financial aid process, general aid information, how to use STARS to review your information and award letter, and a few specific suggestions for both students and parents.

• Paying for College -Billing & Receivables - Reviews general billing information and the WIU Cost Guarantee, using the WIU Cost Estimator online, payment methods and plans, and some commonly asked billing questions.
