Wetzel Removal Project
Scope: Open in September of 1970, Wetzel Hall was used for nearly four decades as a home for over 20,000 Western students. This project includes a full demolition of the Wetzel Hall building as well as minor civil engineering upgrades such as regrading of the hillside and the widening of the NQ Drive road leading from University Drive. A new memorial bus stop, upgraded outdoor lighting, and newly planted green space/park will complete the new look to the North Quad area of campus.
