As recommended in the University Housing and Dining Services Master Plan, Lamoine Village is to completely close by the Fall of 2012. In an effort to provide timely notification, I am writing to inform you that your apartment will not be available for lease renewal past May 31, 2012.

Letter sent to all Lamoine Village Residents in Building 1:

As recommended in the University Housing and Dining Services Master Plan, Lamoine Village is to completely close by the Fall of 2012. As announced earlier in November, we are not renewing leases for apartments in Lamoine Village past May 31, 2012.

We will put any residents wishing to remain in Graduate and Family Housing on a waiting list, but due to limited occupancy, are not able to guarantee space. To help us with this process, we are collecting some information and intentions of Lamoine Village residents. Below, you will find an "Intent to Renew" form that provides us with the details as we begin moving assignments. Everyone residing in Lamoine Village is asked to complete this form and return it to the GFH Office in Seal Hall by Friday, March 9. It is imperative that we have this information quickly so that we can move forward with offering leases for future years.

If you have any questions about the renewal sheet or the contents of this letter, please contact your Resident Manager or the GFH Office at 309-298-3331.

Sincerely,

Anthony J. Lutz
Graduate & Family Housing Director
