Academic Break Housing. Stay With Us.

All halls will remain open during Thanksgiving Break this year.

These dates are Monday, November 23 - Friday, November 27.

Because classes are transitioning into alternate formats beginning Monday, November 30 for the remainder of the fall semester due to COVID-19, all on-campus students received an email on Wednesday, October 7 regarding Thanksgiving Break and leaving campus for the remainder of the semester. If students choose to remain on campus the remainder of the semester, their break housing fee will be waived.

Students should submit their response via the Semester Early Check-Out screen under the Housing/Dining Menu in STARS by Friday, November 13.

Students who choose to leave for the remainder of the semester, but need to stay until 10am on Saturday, November 21 must also fill out a Late Stay Request Form on STARS.

All on-campus students should continue to check their WIU email for important updates from the university.
