Moms' Weekend 2013

WIU Parent and Family Association cordially invite you and your Mom, Aunt, Sister or other significant female friends to join us for our Annual Moms' Weekend.

We hope you enjoy our line-up of activities! This year's Moms' oriented events are sure to make this a memorable time for you and your student(s). Moms' Weekend activities are a guide for you to engage in campus and community activities.  It is a guide as the most important part of the weekend is that you are on WIU's campus and engaged with your student.  You can choose from the ever popular opening dinner reception, BCA show, cooking classes, our annual amazing race WIU style and much more.

Chipper Experience

Featured Event: "The Chipper Experience. Where Comedy and Magic Collide"

Registration:

We would like all participants to register online. The registration form only contains events that require a prepayment or have space limitations. Many activities are free for Moms' and to take part you just have to be registered for the Weekend. You can pay online with a credit card or mail in a check (reservations will be cancelled on March 29, 2013 if payment has not been received).

Moms will be required to wear and present their wristbands at these events. Wristbands will be included in your registration packet. Make check payable to the Parents and Family Association. Mail checks and reservation forms to

Cancellation Policy:

There is a $10.00 non-refundable processing fee for all cancelled registrations. In order to be considered for a partial refund, you must submit a cancellation request which includes a reason for the cancellation in writing no later than Friday, March 29, 2013. Cancellations will not be accepted after the deadline. Cancellation requests can be mailed or e-mailed to:

Approved refunds will be processed and distributed after Moms' Weekend. Those receiving refunds will be sent a refund to their credit card on by check, depending on their payment method on or around April 12, 2013.

mom's weekend t-shirt design

Tee Shirt Orders:

Western Illinois University Moms' Weekend T-Shirts are for order prior to the event. Shirts are available in muted purple and chocolate brown. Sizes are small, medium, large, extra large, 2 XL and 3 XL, please note, these are a ladies cut shirt. Compared to a traditional male tee shirt they run about one size smaller. T-shirts will be printed with white with pink text. T-Shirt order placed before 4:30 pm on 3/29/13 will be provided at the Moms' Weekend Registration table. T-shirts requested after this date will be back ordered and available for pick up by your student on April 15, 2013 in the Student Assistance and Parent Service Center, 1st Floor University Union.
