Exploring Media: University Art Gallery
Friday, 9:00 am-4:00 pm. Explore artistic possibilities for non-traditional media. Previous years' exhibits using foam, tape, glitter, & beeswax. Featured exhibit displays current work of our WIU students. -
R & R Day Spa: 102 North Side Square
Friday, 9:00am-8:00 pm. Choose any two services for $58.00, 30 minute massage, express facial, and/or pedicure. $15.00 special on make up application. All Redken Home Care Products are 25% off. Advance appointment required by calling (309) 833-3401. -
Grand Escape Day Spa Extravaganza: 420 E. Jackson
Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm. Enjoy a $45 pedicure/manicure package. $5 off haircuts and $10 off color services. Advance appointment required by calling (309) 833-2020. -

Leatherneck vs. Oakland Double Header: Boyer Baseball Field
Friday 1:00 & 4:30pm. Free admission to WIU leatherneck baseball. -
Massages for Mom & Me: Spencer Student Recreation Center
Friday, 2:00pm-8:00pm. Advance appointment required by calling (309) 298-1228. Payable by cash or check at time of appointment. -
Leathernecks vs. North Dakota: McKee Stadium
Friday, 3:00 & 5:00 pm. Free admission to our WIU women's softball double header. -
Strenght, Stretch and Core Class: Spencer Student Recreation Center, Fitness Studio East
Friday, 3:30pm-4:30pm. Core Work. Moms admitted free with wristband. -
Check in and Registration Table: University Union, Prairie Lounge
Friday, 5:00-7:00. Register or pick up your registration material.Staff will also be greeting guest for dinner at this location. -
Moms' Dinner Reception & Comedian: University Union, Grand Ballroom
Friday, 6:30pm. Doors open at 6:15. Dinner will be a buffet with Chicken piccata, craved roast beef, red skin garlic mashed potatoes, three cheese fettuccini, roasted asparagus, vegetable medley, rolls, salad, coffee, Lemonade, and either chocolate layer cake, cheese cake or apple pie. Advance reservations and payment required. Cash bar from 6:15-8:15pm. Dinner will be available beginning at 7:00pm. Casual attire preferred. Following dinner is "The Chipper Experience. Where Comedy and Magic Collide" at 8:00pm. -
The Chipper Experience, Where Comedy and Magic Collide (Show Only): Univeristy Union, Grand Ballroom
Friday, 8:00pm. Tickets are available for guest on-line through BCA. For students who reserved their ticket through Moms' weekend website, your ticket will be available at the door. All other students must pick up their ticket Monday - Friday, from noon till 5:00 pm. Last year the show Sold Out, therfore students, please pick up your ticket in advance! -
Cultural Expressions: Multicultural Center
Friday, 9:00pm. Come watch or perform....spoken word, rap, sing, poetry or dance. Free admission, doors open at 8:30pm. Come early sitting is limited. -
Rialto Theater Special: 1401 East Jackson Street
Friday. All evening shows are $1.00 off for Mom's presenting the Mom's Weekend wristband. For all shows and times please visit earlann.net or call (309) 833-2626. -
Digger's College City Bowl: 123 Adams Street
Friday, 9:30pm-11:30pm. Cost is $7.00 per person and bowl all you can (includes shoe rental)! Any mom, who is wearing the moms weekend wristband will receive a large fountain soda with the purchase of Friday Nights Rock and Bowl Special.

The Leatherneck Art, Craft, and Vendor Show: University Union, Heritage Room and Gallery
Saturday, 10:30am-4:00pm. Items for Moms and students to browse or purchase. Vendors will be selling art, ceramics, woodwork, jewelry, crafts, purses, candles and much more. -
Moms' weekend DIY Workshop: Knoblauch Hall 203
Saturday, 10:30-11:00 pm & 11:00-11:30pm. Come join the Visual and Apparel Merchandising Organization (VAMO) and make a couple of quick and cute fashion accessories that you can wear right out the door. You will need to BRING a t-shirt to cut and create a "t-shirt scarf". We will also have a limited supply of wooden bangles to decorate. Cost is $5.00 per person, collected on site. -
Rocky's Workout: Spencer Student Recreation Center, Fitness Studio East
Saturday, 12:00-12:50pm. Great work out, join us. Moms admitted free with wristband. -

Open Climbing Tower: Horn Field Campus
Saturday, 1:00-4:00pm. WIU students pay $5.00 and moms climb free. Fee collected on-site. -
Digger's College City Bowl: 123 E. Adams Street
Saturday, 2:00pm-Midnight. Open Bowling. Students bring your mom by Diggers for a little fun at the bowling alley. WIU Mom's will receive free shoe rental with the purchase of one or more games. -
Introductory Zumba: Spencer Student Recreation Center, West Studio
Saturday, 2:00-3:00pm. Beginners Zumba classes perfect for mom and her student. Come give zumba a try! -
Cupcake Battles: 230 Knoblauch Hall
Saturday, 2:30 pm. Savory and Sweet cupcake battle. Participants provide their own baking supplies and put together their cupcakes in the Knoblauch Hall kitchen. Each team will have one and half hours to prepare 2 dozen cupcakes fully decorated for judging. Sampling will be available at 4:00 for a nominal cost and watching is encouraged. -
Veteran's Club Baggo Tournament: South of Student Recreation Center, on the lawn (rainsite: Recreation Center)
Saturday, 3:00 pm until tournment is completed. Help the WIU Veterans Club support a regional organization or group by participating in the Veterans Baggo Tournament. It is $10 per team. Your $10 will go to a regional Veteran Charity. The Veterans club will provide some snacks and beverages, as well as, prizes for 1-3 place. Support the troops t-shirts will be for sale at the Baggo Tournament! -
Introductory Zumba: Spencer Student Recreation Center, West Studio
Saturday 3:30-4:30 pm. Before you indulge in a cupcake, let's get that body moving in this beginners zumba class perfect for moms and their WIU student. Stop by and give zumba a try! -
CupCake Tasting: 230 Knoblauch Hall
Saturday, 4:00-5:00 pm. Start your evening with desert! Tickets are pre-sold on the reservation site and remaining tickets will be sold at the door. 1 ticket will provide 4 quartered samples or one cupcake. -
Trivia Night: University Union, Western Room (part of the Grand Ballrooms)
Saturday, 7:00-9:00 pm.Put on your thinking cap for fun and prizes! Players match their wits in a strictly for fun game of trivia. Teams will be four to eight people. We will help you form teams. Join us for approximantly 8 rounds of trivia.Free event. Sponsored by University Union Board. -
Big Pink Volleyball Challenge: Spencer Student Recreation Center
Saturday, 7:00 pm. Big Pink volleyball is as easy as counting to 3 - 1...2...3! If you can do that, you can play. Teams will be put together by the recreation center and require mom's to participate. Great way to have fun and make memories to last a life time. Free event, but registration is required. -

18 Holes of Golf: Harry Mussatto Golf Course
Sunday, 8:00am till dusk. Take advantage of the WIU Internet special. Parent fee is $28.00 and student fee is $24.00. Internet coupon special and tee time must be scheduled in advance by calling 309-298-3676. -
Moms' Farewell Breakfast: University Union, Grand Ballroom
Sunday, 9:00am-11:00am. Omelets made to order, pancake, bacon, oven roasted potatoes, whole fruit, assorted donuts, cinnamon rolls, toast, orange juice, coffee and hot tea. Advance reservations and payment required. -
WIU Tennis vs. Roosevelt: Brophy Hall Tennis Courts
Sunday, 11:30 am. Free admission, come watch our men and women's tennis teams ace Roosevelt. -

Open Swim and Sauna: Spencer Student Recreation Center
Sunday, 1:00pm-5:00 pm. Swim laps, relax on an inner tube, enjoy the whirlpool, or try the sauna. Aquatic equipment available.

Argyle State Park - 6 miles West of Macomb, Rt. 136
Fish, picnic, camp, and enjoy the wilderness. Rent a rowboat, canoe, or paddle boat. -
Spring Lake - North of Macomb, off Rt. 67
Hike, fish, picnic, camp, or rent a rowboat or canoe. -
Everly Park - Randolph Street, Macomb
Beautiful Park with picnic areas.
Driving Directions
- Horn Field Campus: Take University Drive East to Lafayette Street (US 67) turn right. Go through the first light. At second light, turn right (route 136). At traffic light, go straight. At "T" intersection, turn right, then immediately left on Johnson Street. At stop sign, continue straight. Turn right on China road. Follow signs and turn left to enter Horn Field Campus.
- Digger's College City Bowl: Turn East on Adams Street. Cross over US 67, Diggers is on the right.
- Ball Fore Family Entertainment Center: Miniature golf, batting cages, driving range. Take University Drive East to Lafayette Street (US 67). Go through the first light. At second light, turn right (route 136). Follow 136 to Ball Fore (left hand side of road).
- Rialto Theater: Take University Drive East to Lafayette Street (U.S. 67) turn right. Go through the first light. As second light, turn left (route 136). Follow route 136 towards the west side of town. Turn right on Prairie Street into shopping plaza.
