White Privilege Conference

April 10-13, 2013 in Seattle, WA
The White Privilege Conference (WPC) examines challenging concepts of privilege and oppression and offers solutions and team building strategies to work toward a more equitable world.  WPC is open to everyone and invites diverse perspectives to provide a comprehensive look at issues of privilege including: race, gender, sexuality, class, disability, etc.  It is not a conference designed to attack or degrade white men and women.  We all experience and are affected by both privilege and oppression.

The theme for the 14th Annual WPC is The Color of Money:  Reclaiming Our Humanity. The delegation has already been chosen for this year.  Questions should be directed to Jaime Vilsack at JL-Vilsack@wiu.edu or 309-298-3232.
