White Privilege Conference
March 28 - April 1, 2012 in Alburquerque, NM
The White Privilege Conference (WPC) examines challenging concepts of privilege and oppression and offers solutions and team building strategies to work toward a more equitable world. WPC is open to everyone and invites diverse perspectives to provide a comprehensive look at issues of privilege including: race, gender, sexuality, class, disability, etc. It is not a conference designed to attack or degrade white men and women. We all experience and are affected by both privilege and oppression.
WIU will be taking a delegation of students. Applications can be picked up starting February 1st at 1pm in the Office of Student Activities or downloaded here.
